Minimum score drops in latest Quebec draw

Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration has conducted a new draw. This was the second Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) draw conducted by the department in June. The previous Quebec draw was held on June 06, which invited a total of 1,281 candidates with a minimum score of 587.Latest Quebec Draw – ResultsThe latest Quebec draw was held on June 20, 2024. A total of 1,470 candidates from Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program were invited to apply for permanent residence. Invited candidates required a minimum score of 585 to be eligible for an invitation.The invitations were addressed to the candidates meeting the following criteria:They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.They had a score equal to or greater than 585 points.They were also addressed to candidates meeting the following criteria:They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.They had a valid job offer outside the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.Candidates invited in this latest Quebec draw will receive a communication in their Arrima message centre along with the information needed to access the form and submit a permanent residence application.

In 2023, Quebec conducted 16 RSWP draws and invited a total of 17,408 candidates to apply for permanent residence. This latest Quebec draw is a continuation of the province issuing high invites with low scores to candidates who seek to immigrate to Quebec permanently.Invitations are generally based on the Quebec points calculator.
