I'm a big fan of Kendrick, but not of Not Like Us. The beat is a pure 100% unique banger Kendrick beat, but some of his rhyme schemes are weak (like the everyone-loves diss line Why you trollin' like a bitch? Ain't you tired?
Tryna strike a chord and it's probably A-Minor – I do find the hopscotch board visual in the video pretty funny though in context).
Also, I don't really care about the beefs in the game. I remember when beefs ruled the game, and we snapped out of that time when two of the biggest at the time were killed in the thick of it. Kendrick is only a year older than me, He probably remembers that situation better than I do, he knows what this is and what he's doing. It just seems he's gotten full of himself since he blew up. and yeah some of those feelings are probably deserved, I'm usually very impressed with most Kendrick tracks. Use your power wisely my dude.
