These January draws follow a busy December in which IRCC invited candidates across seven separate Express Entry draws throughout the month. Throughout 2023, IRCC conducted a total of 42 Express Entry draws. These included:19 All-program draws,17 Category-based selection draws,5 Provincial Nominee Program-only draws, and1 Federal Skilled Worker Program drawThe January 31st draw came off as a surprise, as Express Entry draws are typically conducted at regular two-week intervals, on a Wednesday.
