Kawempe Muslim Thrash Wakiso Hill in Dominant Display

Kawempe Muslim Ladies secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Wakiso Hill in a thrilling encounter, cementing their position at the top of the table with six points and six goals in two games.

Both teams started strongly, pressing hard for an opener. However, the first half was marked by Wakiso Hill’s setback when goalkeeper Halimah Kasuubo suffered an injury and was substituted in the 13th minute.

Agnes Nabukenya missed a gilt-edged chance for Kawempe Muslim, leaving the score deadlocked at halftime.

The second half witnessed an intense battle, with both sides fighting hard for the breakthrough.

Kawempe Muslim’s persistence paid off in the 66th minute when Nabbuto Sumaiya netted from Hadijjah Nandago’s run.

Hadijjah Nandago doubled the lead with a beautiful header from Samalie Nakacwa’s corner kick in the 75th minute.

Agnes Nabukenya sealed the victory with the third goal in the 85th minute.

Teddy Nantongo Namata received a red card for fouling Hadijjah Nandago, further complicating Wakiso Hill’s chances and disorganising its back line.
