Ssemakula Replaces Malinga As Buddo Secondary School Head Coach

Eddie Magulu Ssemakula will succeed Richard Malinga as Buddo Secondary School head coach in preparation of the busy 2025 Secondary Schools footballing season
Ssemakula’s appointment means he takes the void left by thier former coach, Richard Malinga who joined Express Football Club.
“I thank the staff members and director of Buddo Secondary School for trusting me with this opportunity to work in an historical school it is. Buddo is a high profile School with bigger ambitions and I know the pressure is high but I will handle it”. Said Eddie Ssemakula
The CAF C license holder, Eddie Ssemakula brings an impressive resume. He has had stints at London College Nansana, Mulusa Academy Wobulenzi, St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School Kayunga and Masaka Secondary School.
He has also had spells Bulemeezi Ssaza, Busujju Ssaza and Kooki Ssaza in the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup.
In FUFA organized football competitions, Ssemakula has been incharge of Lufuula FC based in Nansana Municipality and for the last three years he has been working with Kira United Football Club.
Players like Ibrahim Kasule now based in USA, Bright Anukani, Farouk Yawe (Bul FC), Emma Kulanga, Titus Ssematimba(NEC FC), Gavin Kizito Mugweri and Collins Ssemanda
Ssemakula’s immediate mission is to defend Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Associations (USSSA) U20 Boys Football since Buddo are the defending champions.
The 2026 USSSA U20 Boys Football Championship will be hosted by Lira Town College.
