NUP Backs Magoola in Busiro East Parliamentary Race

Wakiso– National Unity Platform (NUP) on Saturday officially endorsed Emmanuel Magoola in the Busiro East Parliamentary race.

This was initiated by Mathias Walukagga, the Party flag bearer who was denominated last year by the Electoral Commission for lack of minimum Academic qualifications qualifications for the above seat.
On appearing on the rally organized in Busiro South on Saturday, Walukagga told the party President Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu that he decided to back up Magoola because he believes in the agenda of the National Unity Platform and willing to abide by the Party’s constitution.
This was okayed by Hon. Joel Senyonyi who promised that they will talk more about the matter a few days from now during their campaigns in Busiro East.
It should be remembered that Magoola was one of the National Unity Platform Members who participated in the party Primaries and failed to secure a party flag but unlike other candidates, he decided to run independently but without attacking any members from NUP.
