Buganda Women League: Hopeful Future Targets Maximum Points Ahead of Bugerere Derby

Hopeful Future Women Football Club is targeting nothing than maximum points as they pay visit to Kangulumira Public WFC on matchday four (4) of the 2025/26 Buganda Women League
Bugerere Women’s derby will be played at Kangulumira Church of Uganda Playground on Saturday, 15th November 2025, with kick off at 4PM.
The “Queens of Hope” as baptized have had a fine form since the league started registering maximum points. They defeated Luweero Star Cranes by 1-2 away from home in Kosovo, thanks to a brace from Rashim Bikirwa before registering a 2-0 victory over Kakungulu High Ladies at home courtesy of Mayi Nantume and Brenda Anena
This will be the third (3) time that these two teams are meeting in the Buganda Women League.
Last season, Kangulumira Public WFC took bragging rights in the first round, registering a 2-1 victory at the same venue hosting this weekend’s encounter before Hopeful Future evening at their own yard.
This season, Kangulumira Public has garnered four (4) points in the would be nine (9). They played a 2 all (2-2) draw with Kyoga group leaders in Latifah Queens WFC at home before earning a hard fought 2-1 away win over Golden Impact at Katikolo grounds in Mukono.
Their only defeat of the season was a 4-0 to Luweero Giant Queens on matchday one played away in Luweero.
Hopeful Future heads into the fixture positioned 3rd with six points as well as Kangulumira Public are in the 4th position with four points from three games played in Kyoga Group.
Elsewhere, second placed side in the group (Kyoga), Golden Impact visits Luweero Giant Queens. Table leaders, Latifah Queens WFC, have no match this weekend
