Four missing after bakkie swept away by floodwaters in Msinga, KZN

Four people are missing after a bakkie was swept away by flood water when the driver tried to cross a low bridge in the Msinga area in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday night.
The provincial Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) says there were eight people in the bakkie, two of whom were able to reach safety.
Search and rescue teams have so far recovered two bodies.
The department says the search will continue until everybody is accounted for. It again cautioned people against trying to cross bridges during severe thunderstorms.
The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for heavy rain and severe thunderstorms over large parts of the province on Friday.
