Bellarmine Mugabe, co-accused back in court for bail application

The son of the late former Zimbabwean president and his co-accused are expected to apply for bail in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court today.
Bellarmine Mugabe and Tobias Matondze are accused of shooting a 23-year-old employee at the Mugabe residence in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, in February.
The duo face several charges, including attempted murder, possession of a firearm and ammunition, defeating the ends of justice, and theft.
The case was postponed last week due to a power outage at the court.
