Soli Philander’s funeral service to take place today in Athlone

The funeral service of iconic South African comedian and actor, Soli Philander will take place in Athlone on the Cape Flats on Saturday.
Philander died in Cape Town last week at the age of 65.
He has been described as a cultural gem and a pioneer for young and upcoming comedians, particularly from the Cape Flats.
Philander was renowned for work in television, radio and theatre spanning over many decades.
