The Stormers came out on top in South Africa’s traditional North- South derby beating the Bulls 32-19 in a United Rugby Championship encounter, in Pretoria.
In a scrappy first half, the Bulls got the scoreboard rolling after a penalty try in their favour. The Stormers came back however and had a slight 10-7 lead at halftime after scoring a try and a penalty.

The Stormers dominated in the 2nd half as their forwards got the upperhand. The Cape side outscored their opponents by 3 tries to 2 in the final 40 minutes which secured the result in their favour.
On the 28th of February, the Bulls beat the Sharks 41-12 in their United Rugby Championship match at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, outscoring their opponents by seven tries to two, leading 22-0 at half-time and have now cemented their place in the top eight.
