LIVE: Marius van der Merwe’s murder suspect appears in court

The suspect arrested over the weekend in connection with the killing of former Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department officer Marius Van der Merwe. also referred to as Witness D  at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, is appearing in the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court, east of Johannesburg.
