Ramaphosa responds to Ad Hoc Committee questions

President Cyril Ramaphosa has submitted his responses to the questions that were sent to him by the Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system.
The Presidency missed its own deadline to submit the answers on Monday and requested to be given until the end of business Tuesday.
His office says the submission of these answers shows the President’s support for this process.
Adding that this is also to ensure that the committee receives all necessary information to carry out its mandate effectively.
Presidential Spokesperson Vincent Magwenya elaborates, “The President is committed to transparency and welcomes Parliamentary oversight over the executive arm of the state as part of the democratic process that governs the country.”
