Senegal has been stripped of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title and the trophy has been awarded to Morocco.
The ruling of the Confederation of African Football comes after Morocco’s Football Federation lodged an appeal.
The January 18 final in Rabat descended into chaos after hosts Morocco were awarded a penalty late into normal time.

Senegal left the pitch for 15 minutes and when they returned, the hosts squandered the penalty kick.
Senegal scored in extra time and went on to win the match 1-0.
However, the CAF Appeal Board determined that the conduct of the Senegalese national team warranted a severe penalty.
It ruled that Senegal forfeited the final and awarded a three-nil victory to Morocco.
