Finance Trust Women Elite League:Boni Consili See ‘Nothing’ in Police Women’s Deployment

By Kayiira Jackson
Boni Consili FC produced a ruthless attacking performance to brush aside Police Women FC with a convincing 4-0 victory in the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank Elite League at Jeph International University Grounds in Luzira on Saturday.
The visitors wasted no time imposing themselves on the contest, taking control early with sharp movement and clinical finishing. Biiba Ningamba set the tone in the 11th minute, finishing calmly to give Boni Consili the lead.

Just minutes later, Sheilla Mungutimu doubled the advantage before adding her second in the 24th minute, capping off a dominant first-half showing that left Police Women trailing 3-0 at the break.
After halftime, Boni Consili remained firmly in charge, dictating possession and shutting down any hopes of a Police Women comeback. Catherine Natuhwera sealed the emphatic win in the 81st minute with a powerful long-range effort, putting the result beyond doubt.
Natuhwera’s all-round brilliance saw her walk away with the Player of the Match award after playing a key role in three of the four goals.
Under the guidance of head coach Brenda Nassozi, Boni Consili continue to show their growing strength this season. The tactician, a former USSSA girls’ football champion with Mukono High in 2017, is steadily shaping the West Region side into serious contenders.
The win moves Boni Consili up to third place on goal difference with six points, level with She Kasese FC, and just three points behind leaders URA Ladies FC, who have a perfect nine points after three matches.
Next up, Boni Consili will return home to face PISGBC Ladies FC on March 29 at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara. Meanwhile, Police Women face a stern challenge as they travel to Kawempe to take on table-toppers URA Ladies FC.
In other results, PISGBC Ladies FC secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Buhimba Lady Saints FC at Parade Grounds.
League action continues with several fixtures lined up, as Wakiso Hill WFC take on She Kasese, Goldstar Women FC host Highway Ladies FC, UPDF Women FC welcome Tooro Queens FC, and BUL Women FC visit UCU Lady Cardinals in Mukono.
