Case against murder accused Tiffany Meek postponed to April


The case against 32-year-old Tiffany Meek, who’s accused of killing her eleven-year-old son, Jayden-Lee Meek, has been postponed to the 22nd of April for trial.
Meek appeared before the high court sitting at Palm Ridge, East of Johannesburg, today.
The 32-year-old has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including crimen injuria, murder and attempting to defeat the administration of justice. Her son was reported missing on May 13th last year.
His body was discovered the next morning near a stairway in the complex where he resided with his mother in Fleurhof, west of Johannesburg.
Judge Cassim Moosa presided over the case.
“Now that we finished the plead proceedings, the state has indicated that it would have its witnesses available on the next occasion and therefore by agreement between the state and your council, your matter is then postphoned back to the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division Johannesburg sitting here the Magistrates Court Palm Ridge DC13 to Wednesday, the 22 day of April 2026 for trial. You are in custody, you shall remain in custody.”
In one of her court appearances last year, Meek denied murdering her son.
