“A Probe Into My Wife’s Phone Has Revealed The Unthinkable” Man Narrates How He Found Out The Two Kids He Loves So Much Are Not His In Kibera
I can’t sleep. Ever since I saw that conversation between my wife and her mother, sleep has totally evaded me. My name is Samson Mbugua, turned 33 last November and a father of potentially no kids.
I work with KPLC as one of their Installation Officers in Kibera. Three weeks ago, I overheard my wife Helena talking to someone, telling them that she wishes she had not married me. I decided to find out more about what was going on and over the last two weeks, have been gathering information about her pattern to unlock her phone.
I succeeded, but now know it was a mistake. She was in the bathroom taking a lengthy shower, as usual after coming home late. I saw a conversation on WhatsApp that she had with her mother. Its contents made my head spin and I had to support myself with the table not to collapse on the floor.TrendingAHEAD OF 2026: Museveni Set To Vie For Presidency Again With New Game Plan
Turns out, all this time, both Brian and Precious were not mine. All along, I have been showering love and bonding with kids that were not my own. They belonged to the Caretaker of our plot, Simon Kinuthia. It gets worse, she has another kid, a seven-year-old boy living with her mother. I have no recollection of her telling me about such a thing before we got married. She sends her mother money every week, lies to me that she has a chama.
I have already secretly done a DNA test on them, now that the kits are on sale at most Pharmacies. They are not mine!! I have even noticed that this new knowledge is affecting my behavior towards them. Three days ago, Brian knocked over a glass of milk and I slapped him hard, gave him a look of disgust, which has never happened before. They were my treasure, but now I feel a disconnect.
I asked Helena about their parentage, and she became melodramatic, threw a tantrum and rolled on the floor, crying and accusing me of mistrust. Apparently, it is a much greater crime to snoop into someone’s phone without their permission than it is to sleep with the caretaker behind your husband’s back!! Her mother obviously and expectedly picked her side. She called me and warned me of an impending curse should I disown my own kids. But, they aren’t mine. I know it, and I bet she knows too.
My brother Oscar came to my aid when he recommended I end the Marriage and seek Dr. Mugwenu to easen the emotional blow-out and land softly. His cleansing rituals and love spells came in handy as I was able to avoid the heartache involved and find true love in Pamela Ochieng. She is absolutely gorgeous, stunning and very smart. We hit it off rather quickly. Helena has threatened me with visiting a witch to have me bewitched but I know I have Dr. Mugwenu’s Protection spells, so it won’t work. All this time, she had been using me. It was time she learned to fend off for herself or asked the caretaker to take responsibility for the consequences of their illicit affair. I’m out, and my Pamela wants me, now, tomorrow and the day after.

Ugandan Citizen Abducted, Held in Secret Detention for Three Months, Sparks Outrage and Calls for Justice
A disturbing new case of unlawful detention has surfaced, highlighting the ongoing human rights crisis in Uganda. A Ugandan citizen was reportedly abducted and held in a secret facility, known as a “safe house,” for three months, only to be released without charge or explanation. This incident, reported by NTV Uganda, has sparked widespread condemnation and renewed calls for accountability regarding human rights abuses in the country.
While the details surrounding the abduction remain unclear, reports indicate that the individual was taken without due process and held incommunicado—an action that has long been condemned by human rights organizations. The victim’s release, with no charges filed and no clear justification, has angered activists and citizens, who view this as yet another case of egregious abuse of power by the state.
“This is a recurring pattern,” said one human rights activist. “Abductions, secret detentions, and unexplained releases have become all too common in Uganda. These acts violate fundamental human rights and erode public trust in the justice system.”
The use of “safe houses,” unregistered detention facilities reportedly operated by security forces, has been a focal point in numerous allegations of torture and illegal imprisonment. Despite repeated calls from both local and international organizations for their closure and accountability for those involved, little action has been taken to address these violations.
This case underscores the urgent need for reform within Uganda’s security apparatus and greater accountability for human rights abuses. Observers hope that drawing attention to these injustices will spur concrete action to bring those responsible to justice and ensure the protection of basic human rights.
As frustration mounts, calls for both domestic and international pressure to hold the government accountable for such crimes grow louder. “One day, there must be accountability for all these crimes against our people,” stated one social media user, reflecting the sentiments of many Ugandans.

NUP Gathering Disrupted: Kyagulanyi Alleges Security Force Harassment and Arrests
National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi has accused Ugandan security forces of using excessive force to disrupt a planned NUP gathering. The allegations were detailed in a statement shared on Twitter, following an event held to honor children of NUP supporters who were killed, disappeared, or detained for their political beliefs.
According to Kyagulanyi, security personnel, under the command of an officer identified as Asiimwe, carried out a preemptive operation early in the morning upon learning of the NUP’s plans. The forces allegedly stormed the premises, arrested workers, and deployed tear gas to disperse those present.
“The criminals under the command of one Asiimwe deployed early morning, arrested our workers, and threw tear gas into our premises. They’ve cordoned off the premises and blocked all people from accessing the place,” Kyagulanyi wrote.
Among those reportedly arrested were Saava Peter, Mudenya Samson, and Turyasingura Samson. Kyagulanyi claimed the detained workers were subjected to beatings and interrogated about their political affiliations, with security operatives labeling them as terrorists.
“These JATT operatives asked the workers who they support politically, branding them terrorists and criminals—their only crime being that they work with us. You can imagine the indignity!” Kyagulanyi lamented.
This incident adds to the growing tension in Uganda’s political climate, where opposition parties frequently accuse the government of stifling dissent. Despite the challenges, Kyagulanyi ended his statement with a message of defiance and optimism, proclaiming, “UGANDA WILL BE FREE.”
