Abed Bwanika Claims LOP position As Joel Senyonyi Is No Show At First Regional Sittings in Gulu

The National Unity Platform legislator for Kimanya kabonera county Dr. Abed Bwanika has made self declaration of fulfilling the position of the Leader of Opposition (LOP) in Parliament of Uganda Since Joel Ssenyonyi did not show up for the first regional sitting at Kaunda Grounds in Gulu city Northern region.
Bwanika is understandably not in good terms with his party leaders.
Earlier Ssenyonyi declared that opposition members should not attend the plenary sessions in Gulu city, rallying citizens to boycott the arrangements for regional sittings calling it extravagant spending by the Parliament.
However, some opposition members turned up for this sitting which took place at Kaunda Grounds in Gulu including former Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga who is currently at loggerheads with his party.
The day one of regional commenced at 10:00am with the speaker Annet Anita Among seated at helm of business. However, attempts by the chief architect of gathering the signatures to censor the commissioners of parliament, Theodore Ssekikubu proved fruitless after his microphone was muted .TrendingBreaking News: Court Throws Another MP Out Of Parliament
While introducing himself, Sekikuubo told the speaker that their efforts have been properly processed and presented to the Parliament for consideration before his microphone went off.
“This motion was properly processed and presented to the Parliament for discussion.” Ssekikubo insisted although speaker gave him time to only introduce himself telling the house that the sitting is only Spared ” to handle the critical issues of the people of Northern Uganda”
