The Inspector General of Police, Abbas Byakagaba has made fresh sounding changes in the police force.In the changes announced on Thursday, AIGP Joseph Mugisa who has been the police director for Fire Prevention and Rescue services has been dropped and sent to the IGP’s office.This means he will have to wait for the next appointment from the IGP.The changes have also seen Senior Commissioner of Police Stephen Tanui to replace Mugisa as the acting director for fire prevention and rescue services while Senior Commissioner of Police James Apora is now the acting director in charge of logistics and engineering, Senior commissioner of Police Joseph Obwona is the acting Interpol director and Yusuf Ssewanyana is appointed Deputy Director for Interpol.The changes have also seen Senior Commissioner of Police Frankline Kugonza moved from the Directorate of Logistics & Engineering to Directorate of Fire Prevention & Rescue as Deputy Director and Saraha Kibwika as the acting deputy director for police human resource administration and management.Other changesCP Proscovia Achola of Logistics & Engineering is appointed Ag.
