AMB KATUNGWEAMB KATUNGWE,TYCOON BASSAJJABALABA AND HON ANNET MUGISHABy Wilber Muhwezi Kasibante (MK)In Bushenyi districtwww.mknewslink.comThe deputy Head Of Mission to the Benelux countries and the European Union Amb Franklin Ruhinguza Katungwe last evening 09th Dec 2025 hosted leaders of NRM Bushenyi district leaders with an aim of launching the hunt for president Museveni’s votes in the district.In the a meeting which was attended by the NRM CEC member and NRM chairman tycoon Hassan Bassajjabalaba, Woman MP and Flag bearer Annet Katusiime Mugisha, RDC and his deputy Emmy Ngabirano and Donanto Katsigazi respectively .Amb Katungwe welcomed NRM leaders for heeding to his short notice invitation and come to discuss on how president Museveni’s votes can be increased to 85% from 79% of last elections.Tycoon Bassajjabalaba noted that there was a big problem in Nyakabirizi division last election where president Museveni got only 51% which he says should not happen again.He resolved that the most difficult ones opposing Museveni and flag bearers should be given time to meet with him especially youth and bodaboda riders so that they can be given a message of hope from the president in order for them vote him with an overwhelming percentage.Canon Yerokam Bashaasha and Wilson Karuhanga who have been arc enemies reconciled and resolved to work together in order to increase the percentage of president Museveni in Nyakabirizi division.Hon Annet Mugisha hailed Amb Katungwe for remembering his appointing authority and come from the comfort of Brussels to come and look for votes of the president.She then promised support to the Nyekundaire group that will be chaired by Amb Katungwe and is confident that the president will win with high percentage together with all flag bearers.The Amb offered drinks and dinner to the NRM leaders and promised not to let them down but rather continue supporting them in order for president Museveni to win.The RDC Buhenyi Emmy Ngabirano thanked the NRM leaders for combing efforts to get votes for president Museveni hence convincing the youth to come back to their homeland NRM and vote for president Museveni.Tycoon Hassan Bassajjabalaba fixed a ,meeting for few NRM Leaders at Tropical hotel at 2:30pm today to plan on how they can dismantle opposition in Nyakabirizi division and a few other divisions.
