Smoke rises after an Israeli strike on Beirut's southern suburbs, following an escalation between Hezbollah and Israel amid the US-Israeli conflict with Iran, Lebanon.

The International Relations Department has encouraged South Africans who are in the Middle East to immediately take advantage of the limited flights available to leave the region.
