Big League Side Unveil Brian Kayanja
Paidha Black Angels, newcomers to the FUFA Big League, have unveiled their second signing, Forward Brian Kayanja.
Kayanja joins the club as a free agent, following the expiration of his contract with NEC FC, where he played 23 matches in the Uganda Premier League last season and managed three goals.
Kayanja’s signing comes after the earlier announcement of Midfielder Billy Nkata, and he brings valuable experience and leadership qualities to the team.
With a career spanning multiple clubs, including Bright Stars, UPDF FC, KCCA FC, NEC, Maroons FC, and Kenya’s Sofapaka, Kayanja is a familiar face in Ugandan and East African football.
However, his career has been hindered by injuries since 2020, which have limited his playing time and impact. Despite this, Kayanja is expected to make a significant contribution to Paidha Black Angels.
The club, under the guidance of newly unveiled Head Coach Ibrahim Kyobe and Assistant Kafeero Robert, is strengthening its squad ahead of its third stint in the second division.
Additionally, Paidha Black Angels has renewed the contract of Midfielder Joel Jangeyambe, a key player in their promotion to the Big League.
