Chinese automobile manufacturer Great Wall Motor Company Limited ,also known as GWM has entered the Ugandan market.Headquartered in Baoding, Hebei, China, GWM was named after the Great Wall of China and it largely produces sport-utility vehicles and pick-up trucks.Last week, the company launched its flagship vehicle, the Tank 500, on the Ugandan market but also opened its showroom along Port Bell Road in Kampala.Speaking during the function, Steven Dumba, GWM’s Sales Manager, described the Tank 500 as a powerful, all-terrain, off-road vehicle crafted to deliver a safe, smooth, and exhilarating driving experience.“There’s been a gap in our auto industry.
