The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry in Pretoria has heard how a man linked to the late taxi tycoon Mswazi Msibi handed the member of Gauteng’s organised crime unit, Fannie Nkosi, a document with a list of case numbers.
Mthakathi Mswazi’s document was in relation to the shooting of Msibi’s vehicles after his death.
Allegations suggest that Nkosi may have used his position to advance the interests of an alleged criminal cartel.
Commissioner Sesi Baloyi put it to Nkosi that the list was sent to him so that he could investigate the cases personally.
