Dates Confirmed for Women NBL Finals Games 6 and 7
The schedule for the remaining games in the Women’s NBL finals series has been finalized.
Game 6 between the JKL Lady Dolphins and the UCU Lady Canons will take place on Sunday, September 22, while Game 7, if necessary, is set for Wednesday, September 24, both at Lugogo.
The series had been temporarily paused due to both teams’ involvement in the upcoming 3×3 World Cup in Mongolia.
UCU’s Shilla Lamunu and JKL’s Becky Longom are part of Team Uganda in the 3*3 tournament, which has influenced the scheduling of the finals.
JKL Lady Dolphins currently lead the best-of-seven series 3-2, after securing a crucial 62-51 victory over the UCU Lady Canons in Game 5.
The defending champions have shown resilience by recovering from an initial 2-0 deficit to claim three consecutive wins.
They now stand one win away from defending their title.
