Uganda has been independent for the last sixty two years, under nine leaders from different regions of the country.
As Uganda celebrates her 62nd independence, here’s the list of the presidents she has had;
1. Sir Edward Muteesa ii (1963-1966)
2. Apollo Milton Obote (1966-1971)
3. Idi Amin Dada (1971-1979)
4. Yusuf Kironde Lule (April -June 1979)
5. Godfrey Lukongwa Binaisa (1979-1980)
6. Paulo Muwanga( May-December 1980)
7. Apollo Milton Obote ( 1980-1985)
8. Tito Okello Lutwa (1985-1986)
9. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (1986- to date)
