Express Unveil Defender Mustafa Kizza in Major Signing

Uganda Premier League giants Express FC have officially unveiled defender Mustafa Kizza, a highly-rated left-back who has signed a one-year contract with the club.

Kizza, known for his attacking prowess and defensive stability, is set to bolster the Red Eagles’ squad as they prepare to play their home matches at the revamped Nakivubo Stadium this coming season.

The experienced defender, who recently parted ways with Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC, was previously linked with a potential move to Moroccan champions Wydad Casablanca.

However, Express FC has secured his services ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Kizza brings a wealth of experience, having had stints with Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact in the USA, as well as Portuguese outfit Arouca.

His move to Express will add considerable strength to Express’ defensive line, as the club looks to stage a better challenge in the league.

The signing of Kizza comes on the heels of Express’ acquisition of another key player, midfielder Saidi Kyeyune, from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) FC.

Express FC will kick off their Uganda Premier League campaign this Saturday, facing newly-promoted Mbale Heroes at Nakivubo.
