George Kaddu Nears Move To Kenya’s Tusker

Ugandan left-back George Kaddu is closing in on a move to Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC, this website has been reliably been informed.

The defender confirmed that he will not be staying with Wakiso Giants following the expiration of contract with Uganda Premier League (UPL) side.

“It’s not easy to say goodbye, but life is taking me in a different direction now,” Kaddu said as he bid farewell to the Purple Sharks.

“Being part of this team has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. From the exhilarating victories, to the challenging defeats, every moment has shaped me in ways I never imagined.”

“As I move on to new adventures, I will carry with me the lessons I’ve learned from each one of you,” he added.

The former Kiyinda Boys, Ssingo and Gomba Ssaza player has been playing UPL football for Wakiso Giants since the 2020/21 season.

Should the deal go through, Kaddu will link up with fellow Ugandans Deogratius Ojok and John Byamukama who have been at the club, plus Boban Zirintuusa who has also reportedly just joined the Kenyan Brewers.

Tusker finished second on the Kenyan Premier League table last season, having gathered 65 points in 34 games – just eight less than eventual Champions Gor Mahia.
