In a story that is sure to resonate with anyone who has ever lent money to a friend and struggled to get it back, Kampala businessman John Ssesenga has finally broken his silence on how he recovered a staggering 15 million Ugandan shillings that he loaned to three close friends after they refused to repay him for over two years. His solution? A visit to the renowned Mugwenu Doctors.
Ssesenga’s ordeal began two years ago when he generously lent a total of 15 million shillings to three friends in need. At the time, they had promised to repay him within months, but as the weeks turned into months and eventually years, all three went silent. Despite his repeated attempts to remind them of their debts, Ssesenga was met with excuses, evasive behavior, and at times, outright denial.
“I felt betrayed,” Ssesenga admits. “These were people I considered my close friends. I didn’t want to take legal action because I thought we could solve it amicably, but they just kept dodging me.”TrendingJUST IN: Electoral Commission Suspends Women Council Elections, See Details
Frustrated and losing hope, Ssesenga tried every means to recover his money. He sent messages, made phone calls, and even visited their homes, but his friends continued to ignore his pleas. “It was like I didn’t exist to them anymore,” he recalls.
Desperate and fed up with the dead ends, Ssesenga decided to take a more unconventional route he sought the help of Mugwenu Doctors, a famous group of traditional healers based in East Africa, known for their expertise in solving financial disputes, relationship problems, and other personal crises through spiritual means.
Mugwenu Doctors, with their extensive knowledge in casting spells and administering powerful remedies, assured Ssesenga that they could help him retrieve his money without the need for legal battles or confrontations. Ssesenga was initially skeptical, but after hearing about their success stories from other clients, he decided to trust them with his case.
According to Ssesenga, the Mugwenu Doctors cast a powerful spell designed to force the three friends to return the money they owed. The spell was not intended to harm anyone, but to ensure that the debtors would feel an overwhelming urge to repay their debts. The doctors assured him that within days, he would start seeing results.
“Just three days after Mugwenu Doctors worked their magic, I started receiving phone calls,” Ssesenga reveals. “Each of my friends called me, almost panicked, asking if they could meet and settle their debts. It was unbelievable!”
In a matter of days, all three of Ssesenga’s friends came forward, apologized profusely, and returned the full amount of money they owed him. Not only did Ssesenga get his 15 million back, but he also regained control over his financial situation, and learned a valuable lesson about trust.

Ssesenga, however, found an effective solution that did not involve courts or drawn-out legal battles.
“Honestly, I don’t think I would have ever seen that money again if it weren’t for Mugwenu Doctors,” Ssesenga says. “They didn’t just help me get my money back they gave me peace of mind. I’m sharing my story because I know there are so many people going through the same thing.”
For years, Mugwenu Doctors have built a reputation as one of the leading traditional healers in East Africa, providing solutions to all kinds of problems from relationship issues to financial woes. Ugandan Citizen Abducted, Held in Secret Detention for Three Months, Sparks Outrage and Calls for Justice

Published

A disturbing new case of unlawful detention has surfaced, highlighting the ongoing human rights crisis in Uganda. A Ugandan citizen was reportedly abducted and held in a secret facility, known as a “safe house,” for three months, only to be released without charge or explanation. This incident, reported by NTV Uganda, has sparked widespread condemnation and renewed calls for accountability regarding human rights abuses in the country.
While the details surrounding the abduction remain unclear, reports indicate that the individual was taken without due process and held incommunicado—an action that has long been condemned by human rights organizations. The victim’s release, with no charges filed and no clear justification, has angered activists and citizens, who view this as yet another case of egregious abuse of power by the state.
“This is a recurring pattern,” said one human rights activist. “Abductions, secret detentions, and unexplained releases have become all too common in Uganda. These acts violate fundamental human rights and erode public trust in the justice system.”
The use of “safe houses,” unregistered detention facilities reportedly operated by security forces, has been a focal point in numerous allegations of torture and illegal imprisonment. Despite repeated calls from both local and international organizations for their closure and accountability for those involved, little action has been taken to address these violations.
This case underscores the urgent need for reform within Uganda’s security apparatus and greater accountability for human rights abuses. Observers hope that drawing attention to these injustices will spur concrete action to bring those responsible to justice and ensure the protection of basic human rights.
As frustration mounts, calls for both domestic and international pressure to hold the government accountable for such crimes grow louder. “One day, there must be accountability for all these crimes against our people,” stated one social media user, reflecting the sentiments of many Ugandans.

NUP Gathering Disrupted: Kyagulanyi Alleges Security Force Harassment and Arrests

Published

National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi has accused Ugandan security forces of using excessive force to disrupt a planned NUP gathering. The allegations were detailed in a statement shared on Twitter, following an event held to honor children of NUP supporters who were killed, disappeared, or detained for their political beliefs.
According to Kyagulanyi, security personnel, under the command of an officer identified as Asiimwe, carried out a preemptive operation early in the morning upon learning of the NUP’s plans. The forces allegedly stormed the premises, arrested workers, and deployed tear gas to disperse those present.
“The criminals under the command of one Asiimwe deployed early morning, arrested our workers, and threw tear gas into our premises. They’ve cordoned off the premises and blocked all people from accessing the place,” Kyagulanyi wrote.
Among those reportedly arrested were Saava Peter, Mudenya Samson, and Turyasingura Samson. Kyagulanyi claimed the detained workers were subjected to beatings and interrogated about their political affiliations, with security operatives labeling them as terrorists.
“These JATT operatives asked the workers who they support politically, branding them terrorists and criminals—their only crime being that they work with us. You can imagine the indignity!” Kyagulanyi lamented.
This incident adds to the growing tension in Uganda’s political climate, where opposition parties frequently accuse the government of stifling dissent. Despite the challenges, Kyagulanyi ended his statement with a message of defiance and optimism, proclaiming, “UGANDA WILL BE FREE.”
