I will Make Consultations to Lukwago – New Lord Mayor Balimwezo

Kampala– A few hours after the Electoral Commission has declared National Unity Platform’s Engineer Ronald Balimwezo Nsubuga as the Kampala Lord Mayor, replacing Hajji Erias Lukwago who has served in this office for three terms.

Balimwezo, in his inaugural speech at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) grounds where he was announced from, thanked Lukwago for the great things he has done for the people of Kampala during his tenure and promised to always consult him on several matters wherever the need arises.
“I am the new Lord Mayor of Kampala, I thank the Almighty Lord who has been on my side throughout and given me several titles. I thank my President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and my fellow leaders in the party for having seen capacity in me to contest on this position.” Remarked Balimwezo
He also thanked, Pastors and Religious leaders for always praying for him , as well as his family members, the leader of opposition for always being on his side.
