Infinix Teams Up with Olympic Champion Joshua Cheptegei

Leading smartphone brand Infinix has unveiled Ugandan World and Olympic Champion Joshua Cheptegei as the Ambassador for their latest flagship device, the Infinix Note 40+ Pro.

The announcement came during a grand event held in Mbale on Wednesday, marking a significant collaboration between Infinix and Cheptegei.

A key highlight of the Note40+ Pro is its remarkable charging capability, with the ability to charge from 1% to 50% in just 8 minutes. This groundbreaking feature ensures users stay connected and powered up, catering to the demands of busy schedules.

Cheptegei expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of time management for athletes.

“As an athlete, time is very essential to us, especially during training, drills, and competitions. The quick charging feature of the Note40+ Pro aligns perfectly with our needs.”

In addition to promoting the Note40+ Pro, Infinix will collaborate with Cheptegei and his team to provide technology and accessories to the Joshua Cheptegei Junior School. This initiative aims to enhance the learning environment by equipping the school with laptops, smartwatches, power banks, and other essential gadgets.

Isabel Ainembabazi, Digital Marketing and PR Executive at Infinix, highlighted the significance of the Note40+ Pro’s fast charging technology.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Note40+ Pro to the Ugandan market,” she stated.

“The groundbreaking 100W fast charge technology delivers a 1% to 50% charge in just 8 minutes, matching Cheptegei’s persistence in speed.”

Furthermore, Infinix plans to extend its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts by supporting Cheptegei’s foundation and school. By providing accessories and technological resources, Infinix aims to empower students and contribute to their academic success.

The collaboration with Joshua Cheptegei serves as a major motivation for the athlete as he prepares for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics scheduled for July to August.
