Wednesday, May 8*Miracle Ravens 59-68 UPDF Lady Tomahawks*JT Jaguars 59-56 Our Saviour

JT Jaguars triumphed over Our Saviour with a narrow 59-56 victory in the National Basketball League clash on Wednesday at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.

The Jaguars dominated much of the game, establishing a comfortable lead that peaked at 10 points during certain stretches.

However, a late surge from Pol Mas narrowed the gap to just three points in the final moments and could have forced Overtime on the buzzer but his three-pointer rimmed out.

Mas, with an impressive performance, tallied a game-high 21 points, yet his efforts fell short due to a lack of substantial support from his teammates, as no other Our Saviour player reached double digits in scoring.

George Agasi came out big for the Jaguars, recording a double-double with 18 points and an impressive 21 rebounds.

Kevin Moru and Yesman Bushiri also contributed significantly, adding 16 and 13 rebounds respectively.

The Jaguars asserted their dominance on the boards, outrebounding Our Saviour 51-47, ultimately securing their ninth win of the season in 16 games.

This victory serves as another testament to the Jaguars’ promising debut in the league.

Meanwhile, Our Saviour’s season record stands at eight losses and six wins, reflecting a challenging journey thus far in the competition.
