KCCA and BUL FC played out a 1-1 draw in their Matchweek Two encounter of the Uganda Premier League on Friday at Lugazi Stadium, Najjembe.

KCCA opened the scoring at the hour mark when substitute Ashraf Mugume headed home from Saidi Mayanja’s cross, breaking the deadlock in what had been a tightly contested game. Mugume, who replaced Bright Anukani, took full advantage of his opportunity to give KCCA the lead.

However, BUL FC responded in the 73rd minute through Jeromy Kirya, who unleashed a powerful shot from just outside the box after a slick one-two move. His effort sailed past KCCA goalkeeper Mutwalib Mugolofa, leveling the match at 1-1.

The result means BUL remain without a win in their first two games of the season, having drawn 0-0 with Police FC in their opener at Kavumba.

Meanwhile, KCCA move to four points after their 1-0 victory over URA at Lugogo in Matchweek One.
