Madlanga Commission orders ill officer to testify on March 11

The Madlanga Commission has ordered that the intelligence officer who could not present himself before the Inquiry due to ill health must come and testify on 11 March 2026.
The intelligence officer who handles informants was meant to begin his testimony yesterday.
However, proceedings stood down after the Commission ruled that his legal counsel must produce a more appropriate and descriptive medical note.
Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga has ordered that the witness must file a statement by 3 March 2026.
“The hearing of the witnesses’ testimony is postponed to 11 March 2026, and the statement of the witness must be filed by 3 March 2026. That’s the order.”
