Mogotsi apologises for failing to appear before commission on Monday

North-West businessman, Brown Mogotsi, has apologised to the Madlanga commission for failing to appear before it on Monday after saying he was ill.
He spoke after the commission’s Chairperson, Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, raised concerns over an increasing number of witnesses calling in sick.
“I really have to apologise and reiterate that I have been very consistent throughout the preparations for the commission and coming back from Cape Town, since Friday, I was not okay. I just had a lot of pressure, more like diarrhoea. I was so sick, I’m still not well. So, I really apologise, but indeed I was very ill and very dizzy also.”
