The Ruhinda South Legislator Capt Mugabe Dononzio Kahonda has warned those aiming at dividing people in his constituency on religion and political boundaries yet they are from other constituencies to stop with immediate effect and play mature politics so that people can choose genuine leaders.
Kahonda made the call today while speaking to thousands of his supporters at the official opening his campaign as an independent candidate following the irregularities that were noticed in the NRM primary elections ,a function that was held at Bukongoro ward in Mutara subcounty Mitooma district after making a rally through Mutara town council.
He noted that some people with selfish interests who he termed as “wolves” have taken as a habit to spread hate speeches among people yet they should be giving their manifestos so that residents can choose their appropriate leaders without either being comprised or intimidated and noting that such people are not even from Ruhinda South which he says ,they might be having a hidden agenda against his constituency.
Kahonda further noted that he is standing as an independent candidate to ensure that there is continuity in service delivery not following the propaganda leadership of a certain group of people.
Meanwhile many residents who changed from different camps they were supporting in NRM primaries noted that they discovered that they were taken by the false accusations against leaders hence seeing light now.
