Mpoma Royal College Shines in UACE Exams With Outstanding Performance

Mpoma Royal College in Mukono has once again demonstrated academic excellence after posting impressive results in the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations.

The results, released on Friday by the Minister of Education and Sports and First Lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni, show a strong performance across all score brackets, affirming the school’s consistent commitment to high-quality education.

Out of the 89 candidates who sat for the examinations, the distribution of results reflects an outstanding achievement: 2 candidates scored 19 points, 4 scored 18 points, 9 obtained 17 points, 14 achieved 16 points, and another 14 scored 15 points. Additionally, 11 candidates earned 14 points, 9 secured 13 points, 8 obtained 12 points, 9 scored 11 points, and 9 candidates attained 10 points.

This remarkable performance underscores the school’s long-standing tradition of academic excellence, discipline, innovation, and a holistic approach to learning.

The Director of Mpoma Royal College, Dr. Thadeus Musoke Nagenda, attributed the success to teamwork and a shared commitment among students, teachers, and the entire school community. He expressed pride in the results, noting that they reflect a balanced and effective educational system.
