Museveni Names Acting KCCA Executive Director – Ultimate News
Early this week, president Museveni fired three top Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) bosses after an IGG report pinned them of criminal negligence in the Kiteezi tragedy that left over 30 dead, several missing and scores homeless.
The three included the Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka who had just been re-appointed for another term, her deputy Eng David Luyimbazi and the KCCA Health Director Dr Daniel Ojok.

In the communication from the President’s press unit, Museveni directed the Public Service Commission to advertise the three jobs but also ordered the minister of Kampala Minsa Kabanda to recommend to him three names to be occupying the three positions in an acting capaicty to foster continuity.
Now news coming in indicate that the president has appointed Frank Rusa Nyakaana who is the KCCA legal director. He will steer Lukwago’s KCCA in an acting capacity until a new Executive Director is found.TrendingPolice releases 11 suspects in Maria Nagirinya Murder Case.
He’s the second person to be appointed acting ED of KCCA after Eng Andrew Kitaka in December 2018 who also steered the wheels of the authority when Jenifer Musisi left until Museveni appointed Dorothy Kisaka in July 2020 whom he fired early this week.

Before joining KCCA last year, Frank Nyakaana was the Country representative of the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD), a Hague-based international NGO that works to promote dialogue among and between political actors. He was also the Executive Secretary of the Inter-Party Organization for Dialogue (IPOD) a forum that bring together political party leaders of all the parties represented in the parliament of Uganda.
