Museveni Reportedly Rescinds Alex Kakooza’s Appointment At Trade Ministry – Ultimate News
Trusted sources have intimated to this publication that the president has rescinded the appointment of Kakooza Alex as the new permanent secretary for the ministry of trade, industry and cooperatives.
It’s reported that the president is doing this after realizing that Kakooza’s plate as PPS to the vice president is already too full and cannot add him other responsibilities. He had wanted him to handle both of them at Once yet the post of being PPS to the VP is also too much work already. This means there is no way Kakooza can handle both at the same time and excel.
This now means that Kakooza will remain as the principal private secretary to the vice president and the president is already working with Lucy Nakyobe the head of public service to find someone else to take over the role of permanent secretary for the ministry of trade.
The position was previously occupied by Geraldine Ssali who was arrested this month for the issue of the cooperatives money that was misappropriated in billions. She is facing charges with members of parliament.TrendingBreaking News: Fire Razes Down Museveni’s Former Neighboring School
