The delayed 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games I U20 Girls Football Championship is finally set to conclude this week, with the remaining semi-final matches and the final scheduled to take place at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso District.
The championship was put on hold earlier this year due to the engagement of Uganda’s national youth teams in the CAF U17 and U20 continental competitions. With those assignments now concluded, attention shifts back to determining the national schools champion.
Action resumes on Thursday, 2nd July, with two mouthwatering semi-final clashes. St. Noa Girls Secondary School will face Boni Consilii Girls Vocational School at 1:00 pm, before Amus College School takes on Rines Secondary School in the second semi-final at 3:00 pm.
The competition will conclude on Friday, 3rd July, beginning with the third-place playoff at 9:00 am, before the eagerly awaited final kicks off at 11:00 am.
The winners will be crowned the 2026 USSSA Ball Games I U20 Girls Football Champions, succeeding the team that lifts the coveted national schools title after months of anticipation.
