Dream Girls Soccer Academy have been crowned champions of the Kampala Region Women’s League after defeating Buddo Christian WFC 3-1 on Saturday in their final match of the season, capping off a dominant campaign with promotion to the FUFA Women Elite League.
The champions concluded the season with an outstanding 54 points from 22 matches, underlining their consistency and quality throughout the league. Their title-winning performance secures a place in the FUFA Women Elite League next season, marking a significant milestone in the club’s growth.
Dream Girls’ successful campaign was further highlighted by a clean sweep of the league’s major individual accolades. Midfielder Mupyanga Halimah was named the league’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) after a series of influential performances, while goalkeeper Bainamu Tendo Jemima claimed the Golden Glove award for her outstanding displays between the posts. Forward Lydia Namaseruka from Isra Soccer Academy finished as the league’s top scorer, underlining the club’s attacking prowess.

The club, under the stewardship of Ismail Mukiibi, has enjoyed a remarkable season built on disciplined performances, teamwork, and effective leadership.
