In the joint statement released yesterday, signed Dr. Omagino O.O. John, Executive Director of UHI, and Apostle Grace Lubega, Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries, the two institutions acknowledged ongoing public discussion surrounding the matter and confirmed that constructive engagements are underway between their leadership, in collaboration with relevant government authorities.
The discussions are aimed at reaching a mutual understanding that safeguards the interests of both parties while serving the broader public good.
The institutions emphasized that agreed-upon actions will be communicated in due course to further strengthen their collaboration. They also dismissed what they described as misleading narratives and misinformation circulating in sections of the media.
“We urge the public to remain calm and refrain from speculation as discussions progress,” the statement noted.
Both UHI and Phaneroo reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a respectful and cooperative relationship. They stressed that their respective mandates—providing specialized cardiac care and advancing spiritual outreach—continue uninterrupted.
