Parliament Reveals Financial Contributions in Honor of Hon. Hellen Nakimuli

Kampala– Parliament has on Wednesday has held a special sitting in honor of the Late Hellen Nakimuli (Kalangala Woman MP) who passed away on Sunday.

In this sitting, the Speaker of Parliament has announced some financial contributions from Government, Members of Parliament and other individuals.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni
has contributed twenty million shillings, ten million shillings from the Buganda Parliamentary Caucus, ten million Shillings from the Speaker herself, five million shillings from Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, and one million shillings from Government Chief Whip Hamson Obua.
The cash expenses are directed to Nakimuli’s only surviving Child.
She further added that as it has been on all current members of Parliament, the Parliament of Uganda will meet all burial expenses.
