\nThe platform, developed under the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council, is expected to consolidate services and improve communication between the council, mosques, and the wider Muslim faithful. It will be accessible through www.umsc360.com, a dedicated phone line (0200 606421), and a USSD code (*248*21#) for users without smartphones.
\nHon.Ssekyanzi said the move is part of efforts to modernize religious administration in Uganda, ensuring that services are more efficient and accessible.
\nBeyond digital transformation, the Secretary General also urged the public to observe health precautions- Standards Operating Procedures ( SOPs), during the Eid season, citing an Ebola outbreak in the neighboring country of Congo. He emphasized handwashing, use of sanitizers, and avoiding contact with suspected cases as part of preventive measures to ensure safe celebrations.
\nHe further confirmed that Eid al-Adha- feast of sacrifice Holiday preparations within Uganda and the observance of Arafah in Makkah will proceed under strict guidelines issued by the Council.
\nThe announcement marks one of the most significant administrative shifts within UMSC in recent years, positioning the institution toward a more technology-driven approach to religious coordination and service delivery.
\nPresent at the prayers was His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje the Mufti of Uganda along with other UMSC departmental heads among others<\/p>\n\n
