\nDuring a media engagement held on Friday in Kampala, DPP Mr. Lino Anguzu revealed that he has already written to the Chief Justice, Dr. Flavian Zeija to have all matters coming up on these three days to be adjourned to new dates.
\n\u201cIn today\u2019s increasingly complex Criminal landscape, perpetrators continue to exploit legislative and systematic gaps, thereby hightening the vulnerability of victims and threatening public safety, security and economic development. Addressing these challenges requires deliberate collaboration among actors in the justice system.\u201d Remarked Anguzu
\nHe added that this Symposium is crucial because it promotes team work, collaboration and communication among the criminal justice system.
\n\u201cThe Symposium will be delivered through expert presentations, structured discussions and peer learning sessions facilitated by both internal and external resource persons. This year\u2019s lecture is unique because it will include facilitators from Russian Federation who will be sharing their prosecutorial experiences with us.\u201d
\nAfter the Symposium, the ODPP will hold the 8th Joan Kagezi Memorial Lecture on the 29th May at Speaker Resort Munyonyo.
