\nThe Project will be funded under the Climate Resilience and Water Infrastructure for Refugees and Host Communities in Northern Uganda Program funded by European Union and German Government through KfW.
\nThe project is aimed at enhancing water quality management in Northern Uganda.
\nThe laboratory is expected to monitor water quality to ensure safety for both domestic and commercial use.
\nThe facility will also identify sources of pollution and inform mitigation strategies while supporting climate resilience and sustainable water management.
\nThe program comprises of three projects namely;
\nClimate Resilience and Water Infrastructure for Refugees and Host Communities in Northern Uganda Project
\nDKTI (The German Climate Technology Initiative): Transformation to CO2-Neutral Water Supply Project
\nEuropean Union financed WASH Infrastructure in Schools Under European Union Program Gender for Development Uganda (G4DU).
\nThe event was attended by Omoro District officials, Bobi Sub-County leaders, Water and Sanitation Development Facility-North and Umbrella of Water and Sanitation-North Officials who will use the facility and community members.
