\nGongodyo was murdered last week, in a mob action suspected to have been conducted by a group of boda boda riders in Ntinda who falsely accused him of robbing a woman\u2019s hand bag.
\nAccording to Recheal Kawala, Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, the suspects have been identified as Mugwiisa Obed and Owino Joseph, a security guard.
\n\u201cMugwiisa Obed was captured in video footage wearing a yellow T-shirt and carrying a large log during the incident. During interrogation, he led investigators to a local laundry (dobbi) where he had taken the yellow T-shirt he was seen wearing on the day of the attack.\u201d
\nThat the garment was subsequently recovered as part of the ongoing investigations.
\n\u201cEfforts are ongoing to identify, trace, and apprehend other individuals believed to have participated in the incident.\u201d
\nThis arrest has increased the total number of suspects in Police custody to ten (10) as further investigations into the alleged mob killing continue.
