{"id":343,"date":"2026-04-13T16:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T16:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xavieradioug.com\/news\/chief-justice-zeija-begins-southwestern-uganda-court-tour-to-boost-justice-service-delivery\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T16:30:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T16:30:00","slug":"chief-justice-zeija-begins-southwestern-uganda-court-tour-to-boost-justice-service-delivery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/xavieradioug.com\/news\/chief-justice-zeija-begins-southwestern-uganda-court-tour-to-boost-justice-service-delivery\/","title":{"rendered":"Chief Justice Zeija Begins Southwestern Uganda Court Tour to Boost Justice Service Delivery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<br \/>\n                                KISORO, April 13 \u2014 The Chief Justice of Uganda, Flavian Zeija, has commenced a three-day inspection and engagement tour of courts in southwestern Uganda aimed at strengthening justice service delivery and enhancing collaboration among justice sector stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Justice Dr. Flavian Zeija and other Judiciary top management staff during the tour.<br \/>\nThe tour will cover the High Courts in Kabale and Rukungiri, as well as Magistrates\u2019 Courts in Kisoro, Rubanda, Rukiga, and Kanungu.<br \/>\nThe visit provides a platform for direct engagement with judicial officers, court staff, and other stakeholders, allowing the Chief Justice to gather firsthand feedback, address operational challenges, and explore practical solutions to improve the administration of justice in the region.<br \/>\nThe tour kicked off at Kisoro Chief Magistrate\u2019s Court, where Justice Zeija was received by a team of senior judicial officers, including Karoli Lwanga Ssemogerere, Resident Judge of Kabale High Court, and Acting Chief Registrar HW Lamunu Pamella Ocaya, among others.<br \/>\nAlso present was the Permanent Secretary to the Judiciary, Pius Bigirimana, alongside a range of local leaders and security officials. These included the Resident District Commissioner of Kisoro, Hajji Badru Ssebyala, religious leader Rev.
