\nKatureebe addressed members during the committee\u2019s routine Tuesday meeting held at the UMSC headquarters in Old Kampala. The session was chaired by Muhammad Ali Waiswa, and attended by senior leadership including Hafiz Muhammad Harunah Bukenya, Abbas Muluubya, and Muhammad Ali Aluma, alongside various departmental heads.
\nAccording to Katureebe, the revised manual aligns with the UMSC Constitution as amended in 2022, as well as the Council\u2019s Ten-Year Strategic Plan. He explained that the document is designed to harmonise human resource practices with modern standards, while addressing gaps, inconsistencies, and previously overlooked areas in earlier versions.
\nHe further guided the committee through the rigorous review, verification, and validation processes undertaken by the subcommittee to ensure the document meets institutional and governance expectations.
\nFollowing deliberations, the committee unanimously adopted the draft, which has now been forwarded to the relevant organs of the Council. The final approval is expected to be made by the General Assembly, anticipated to convene in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n
