\nSpeaking during the engagement, Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, John Baptist Asiimwe, emphasized the critical role of accurate and timely data in the administration of justice. He urged Regional Officers to take personal responsibility for the integrity of data generated within their jurisdictions, noting that the effectiveness of prosecutorial decisions depends heavily on the reliability of the information available.
\nAsiimwe further explained that the engagement was intended to build consensus on practical and dependable data tools that can enhance consistency, accountability, and clarity within the institution.
\nDirector of Public Prosecutions, Lino Anguzu, outlined a firm vision for the future, signalling a decisive shift towards digital transformation within the ODPP.
